Thought I'd show u what happens around mine when I use their call play back & the knockers come knocking. My 2 Swifts were currently inside their box so these are all strangers. Generally I only have my pair around the house. I missed several landings in this clip before I setup.

It's all very tiring this flight practise..

Question: Like with Peregrines can you put a chick like this into another different nest with similar aged chicks and the adults accept it and feed it as their own?

This weather is highlighting the positioning of ur future Swift boxes. Make sure if @ all possible that they don't get direct sunlight all day long and if u can't help it esp not afternoon sun. Mine only has sunlight on it until 08:30ish then not for the rest of the entire day.

My 2 right now asleep in the box. They are the fortunate one's in the shade. 👍

This is where having 2 cameras in the one box is finally paying off. One of my Swiftlets did a little walk about the landing area and then thankfully safely back into the next cup.

We're a first world country, right... so why can't they put aircon and decent wifi on our trains. It's not rocket science. 😓🥵🥵📶📶
