I don’t wanna talk about race bandit girl too much but I can tell you as someone who’s been in events for 15 years, the argument “omg it’s just ONE person!” Doesn’t really resonate with me. I’ve organized a lot of events where 100s of people thought they’d be the “just one.”

Sometimes when I get a misogynistic or alt-right or anti-science reply, I try to optimistically think, 'well, I shouldn't make snap judgments abt old white dudes; surely if I explain rationally, this one will see sense' and each time I become a perfect graveyard of buried hopes.

It's 88 degrees in Central Pennsylvania in April and my kids are splashing in their wading pool but hey I'm sure the current plan of doing essentially nothing about climate change will be lots of fun and the rest of the summer will be fab!!!!!
