I was playing w/ Hiro last night, & came to the realization: Unlike with Ganon, playing with Bowser always has this glint of hope, interactions make sense, if I lose neutral, it makes sense, when I look up at the mountain, I no longer feel despair, but determination instead

Being sober at tournaments is so weird, I feel like I have to re-introduce myself to everyone, like damn, have my interactions always been this awkward?

1 Year Sober and taking a step back from social spaces to reevaluate what I want, and what I'm getting out of them. Not going to be competing in melee for some time. I wish I could go back to when it was lighthearted fun, not politics & cliques. I'll be back eventually.
