UCPD.sys version 3.0.0 is being distributed through Windows Updates. It added InfDefaultInstall.exe and pwsh.exe to the deny list, thus preventing them from changing the default browser.

SetUserFTA 2.0 can now display the command line associated with a file type, making it significantly easier to troubleshoot issues related to file associations.

Microsoft has released a new version of UCPD.sys, which impacts the functionality of the licensed edition of SetUserFTA for HTTP, HTTPS, and .PDF associations. An update will be available shortly to address this issue.

Due to minor bugs and recent Microsoft changes, we didn’t officially announce SetUserFTA 2.0. But it’s already in use by multiple customers and now available at version 2.1.3. More info here: setuserfta.com/setuserfta-2-0…

SetUserFTA v2.4.5 is now available, adding support for the changes in UCPD.sys v4.1. Existing customers can download it from the customer portal.
