Hanging out in Lennox Lewis, CBE, CM' hometown of Kitchener was surreal, especially seeing the police gym where he first learned to box and where we filmed one of his interviews.

One of my favorite parts of directing Tough Love was meeting all of the wonderful people that surrounded Lennox Lewis, CBE, CM, including Courtney Shand, his childhood friend and fitness trainer.

Probably the most fulfilling part of making a documentary about Lennox Lewis, CBE, CM was getting to know my co-Director, Rick Lazes. He is a truly thoughtful and generous person, and his creativity and vision knows no bounds. It has been a wild and thrilling ride, Rick!

What can I say about meeting Mike Tyson? What an extraordinary experience! I know he's a beast in the ring, but in person I found him thoughtful and honest, not dodging any of our questions and even open to his own vulnerabilities. An experience I will never forget!
