This is in part why these coming months remain an important window of opportunity for UA to retake territory. Over the winter the contest will likely be one more defined by attrition and reconstitution. The extent to which mobilization can help RU reconstitute is unclear. 19/

Next week during the #HomeOfWargamers 2022, the Maslas's brothers, developers of Modern Naval Warfare, will talk to us about weapons and damage modeling. We will also go into the detail of sailing, what it takes to control a 7000t sub, and much more. bit.ly/How22Wargames

I see a lot of „tanks-are-still-useful“ threads but some of them actually make we wonder. If tanks are limited to the role below all you really get is a makeshift SPART piece. You would be better served with less armor and more gun.

My gaming run of the Ukraine war in January foresaw extreme difficulties for air. Never would I have expected Rocket Lobbing from fixed wing aircraft though. Is this anything more than symbolic anymore?

Is there any realistic scenario in modern warfare for airdrops? Would anyone fly essentially transport planes into contested space just to have a huge percentage of inf disabled by landing accidents? Does it justify the costs of maintaining that capability?

The CIA & Norwegian Navy used a Norwegian Air Force aircraft not in regular service, flown by US pilots to fly undetected through all of Swedish airspace to drop a sonobuoy in the Danish EEZ under the guise of a routine flight 1500km+ from its base. youtu.be/b8QRWPxWP0o
