Earlier this week, I presented a proclamation to Mr. Sher Rajput’s family, honoring his life and contributions to our community. He is remembered for his instrumental role in the success of the Indo-American Center, his community service, and support to all of our neighbors.

Last night, we joined neighbors to commemorate Assyrian Martyrs Day. We remember the lives lost in the genocide in Simele and other attrocities faced by the Assyrian community. I am honored to represent a thriving Assyrian community in the 8th State Senate district.
