I didn’t go into school today as I have been ill. I got a message from my HoD at the end of the day saying “Please don’t worry about Señor Gambas he has had a lovely day!” followed by this… (For context, he has been stolen twice in my absence) 😂 made my day.

Thank you to everyone for your lovely tweets regarding Señor Gambas and my amazing HoD. After his busy day yesterday, he has slept all day today. I did try to move him as his snoring was disturbing Year 9 but he wasn’t very impressed so I left him be. 🦐

Imagine my surprise when half way through period one I get this email… #SeñorGambas was stolen by Fliss Kitching 🌎🛶🐾 and taken to Southwold 🌊

The GCSE fieldwork trip to Southwold started well…

But then… 🤦🏼‍♀️

“Call to the sea too great - think I’ll find my family” #SeñorGambas will be in detention tomorrow after his behaviour this afternoon.

Despite the scorching heat and subsequent sunburn, Señor Gambas had a great first day in Paris 🇫🇷

Señor Gambas had a bit too much fun at the Cité des sciences et de l’industrie.

Señor Gambas got a bit upset that he was too short for the big rides but he enjoyed making friends with Mickey and Minnie 🏰

It’s that time again. 2+ hours delay but we’re still smiling 🇫🇷

It was an incredibly long day on the coach yesterday but Señor Gambas was excited to practise his French at the first opportunity to order the biggest macaron he’s ever seen 😍

Señor Gambas thoroughly enjoyed this year’s Paris trip with his outfit that matched the students’ hoodies.

Of course he had the best time at Disneyland especially as he matched the pumpkin theme.

But his favourite part was getting his very own Mickey ears! 😍
