Today, we start fresh. My colleagues and I removed the policy items from the Governor's budget that shouldn’t be there. This budget is about Wisconsin priorities – not a liberal wish list.

To Governor Evers - Happy Inseminated Persons Day! To the rest of Wisconsin - Happy Mother's Day! My mom sacrificed so much to make sure that I had the opportunity to learn and grow. I'm grateful to her today and every day.

I enjoyed listening to and talking with folks in Muskego, New Berlin, and Waukesha on Monday night. I appreciate everyone's input as I work with my colleagues to craft a budget that works for Wisconsin.

Earlier this spring, I had the chance to meet Jalesh, an Eagle Scout and SDNB Eisenhower student who helped present the Boy Scout Report to the State on behalf of the Scouting Council. Jalesh is a talented young man with a bright future who’ll be attending UW-Madison in the fall.
