I’m all for paying my fair share of taxes but this discourse is hard to swallow. A lot of aspirational middle class people who have investments worked hard for the money to make those investments in the first place and this feels like some sort of punishment coming down the line.

I’ve acquired great art on Bitcoin. Yes, mempool is clunky and transactions can be slow but there’s a whole cultural movement around Ordinals. If you’ve never heard of Michael Hafftka, Ryan Koopmans, Orkhan, Post Wook, Harto, Coldie… then you just have an uninformed view

Three quarters of a billion people faced hunger last year. But we can turn things around. The UK will be joining Brazil’s Global Alliance against Hunger and Poverty as a founding member at #G20. Through genuine partnerships, we can get better support to those most in need.
