What a way to spend a summer! Just wrapped up our first two-week assignment of the season. Although fire season started a bit late here in the Southwest, it's definitely making its presence known now. Feels good to be back home, recharged, and ready for whatever comes next.

A day out in the field with air operations on the Laguna Fire in Gallina, NM. The technology is really evolving over the years, as we are using a lot more aerial support (drones and helicopters) on remote fires like this one.
