The Selects took game one of their playoff opener against the Smoke on Wednesday night, 2-0. Shayne Riepert (4 IP, 1 hit, 5 K) and Brett Pfeifer (3 IP, 3 K) threw a combined one-hitter in the win. #KFL

After a Kevin Ryrie leadoff single, Brett Pfeifer hit a two-run homer in the top of the 1st for the game’s only offense. The Selects will look to complete the sweep in their best-of-three quarterfinal match-up on Monday @ 7 p.m. #KFL

Luke Zettel threw a gem last night, as the Smoke downed the Selects 4-0 to even the best-of-three quarterfinal at one game apiece. Tyson Bosma (1-1, 3B, 2 BB, SB) was the lone bright spot in the Selects’ offense. #KFL
