Congratulations to Burlington’s newest Eagle Scout, Alex Lock! Troop 511 is the same troop that I earned my Eagle from and it’s always special to present a proclamation from our town celebrating this great achievement!

Thanks to Mass. Municipal Assn for a great day at #Connect351. It’s always wonderful to network with officials from other cities/towns and hear how they deal with many of the same issues we have in Burlington.

Thanks to Governor Maura Healey for joining us in Burlington today to announce her Chapter 90 proposal and transportation bond bill. Her administration is aiming to provide $1.5bil for infrastructure and transportation improvements to cities and towns all across the Commonwealth.

Happy Election Day, Burlington! If you haven’t already, please get out to BHS & vote. Polls are open from 8am-8pm. In my opinion, your local election will affect your day to day life more than any other election. No matter who or what you support, please make your voice heard!

Happy Mother’s Day to all of the moms, single moms, mother figures, grandmothers, people filling maternal roles by choice or unexpected circumstance, mothers of four legged kiddos and a big hug to everyone missing their mom today.

Thanks to the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. We have those brave souls to thank for the many freedoms we enjoy and sometimes take for granted. Today, with great appreciation, we remember them and their families. 🇺🇸

Trash and Recycle pick up will run normal this week and be picked up on Thursday the 3rd. The Republic Services strike will not have an affect on The Town of Burlington's pick up. If anything changes, we will send out notification to the residents.
