Further, as the adult attempting to diffuse the behavior and emotional response from the child, the adult should be demonstrating for the child how to respond in an escalated situation so the child can emulate what they see. Perhaps they’ve only ever been met by aggression.

My experience with these presenters has been very informative. Not only do they have deep understanding of restorative practices, they have the tools and experiences to help educators put them to use. They go beyond the what/why and help get to the 'how'.

💯‼️ If I were to make one change, I would highly recommend increasing the importance of Self-Awareness. I personally think that should be the biggest slice of the pie.
