The 2021-23 Fagradalsfjall, Iceland events were largely aseismic in the hours preceding the eruption. But the 2 recent Svartsengi-Grindavik events had intense precursory seismicity right before eruption.
Any thoughts on what causes this difference?🤔

Thanks for providing early warning of the eruption by detecting the seismic swarm that preceded it, helping the nearby town to be evacuated.
