It seems Essential Energy have just announced via email that they will no-longer abide by NSW Service & Installation Rules 8.6.13.1 exemption in regard of Voltage Rise on Service Mains. That was the only bit of flexibility we had. ( I remember negotiating it back in 2014)

Re-phrasing it: We won’t give you an exemption to go over 1% VR on the Service Main under SIR 8.6.13.1 , but we will CONSIDER giving you an exemption to go over 1% VR on the Service Main, if the Consumer Main & Inverter sub main is under 2% as per AS4777.1. SAME THING ???
