The most powerful man in the world just used his position and platform to attack a sexual assault survivor. This is the same man who has been credibly accused of more than a dozen cases of sexual assault or harassment — who has bragged about committing sexual assault on tape!

Women are watching as the most powerful people in this country disbelieve, distrust and minimize their experiences. We need to answer this: Are we a country that values women? Do we believe women when they tell us about sexual trauma? Do the stories of survivors matter to us?

In the place of every elected official who put their right-wing political agenda over the stories and voices of women, let’s elect one of the record number of women running for office to fight for equality and justice.
