This year, we've introduced a lending library for anyone wanting to do some more reading about the archaeology they've been digging on site. The books were owned by our founder, Neil Faulkner's personal collection, and kindly donated by his family to the project for all to use.

No pictures of site itself, as one might guess from this substitute, but it's a day of finds cleaning and tool maintenance.

Sophie will be running a course related to this project next Monday to help train local volunteers to take part in mapping the local area, and will also be at our Festival of Archaeology this Sunday to showcase their work. sharp.org.uk/single-post/fr…

An a-moo-zing find has just been discovered by our BERTs today: A fragmented cow skull is slowly emerging out of a colluvial layer which appears to be sealing our Saxon occupation layer.
