Visiting choirs. A thread 🧵 Singing in a visiting choir was a formative experience especially as I couldn’t regularly sing in a cathedral choir. The experience has taken me all over the country to amazing cities and beautiful cathedrals. I have a soft spot for visiting choirs.

Appalled that BBC Radio 4 deemed it acceptable to provide commentary over the music in the Platinum jubilee service St Paul's Cathedral. They didn’t talk over the spoken bits of the service, so why over the music? Is good music just muzak to Radio 4?
