Tower Hill Terrace's drinking fountain could be contemporary with Cecil Thomas' 1965 sculptures over the gate piers.

Either way, Tower Hill Trust redeveloped the terrace a few times over the years, most recently in 2019, with the broken drinking fountain left untouched πŸš±πŸ™

After a gloomy thread on the Square Miles' derelict drinking fountains, here's the 1899 fountain by Butlers Retreat, Epping Forest.

It was reinstated to full working order in 2011 and is managed by City of London πŸš°πŸ™‚

Which makes those broken City fountains all the more puzzling
