It is with profound sadness to share that our lab founder, Llew “Doc” Ehrhart passed away last week. There is so much I could say about Doc. I took over his lab in 2013 and with it I inherited a community of wonderful, impassioned, and loving people—not least of which was Doc.

📣: Arribada season is going on in #Rushikulya, Orissa! The term ‘arribada’ means arrival in #Spanish and is used to describe the simultaneous emergence of #ridley sea turtles onto #beaches to nest. Female ridleys congregate in large numbers at just a few sites globally.
