@JaredDLee I think the idea of going for it, failing and forcing a FG. Then get the ball back at the -25 instead of the -10 if you punt and force a punt is equal in terms of win/loss. But the 4th and 22 call should’ve worked! People aren’t talking about that lol

.@JaredDLee also had the decision as a toss up 3% difference between punting it and going for it and failing in terms of win prob. If Alabama had punted and got a stop, they would've pinned back inside their own 20. When you have a play you think may work, it tips the scale.
