James Morgan @jackbar_ed On paper that would be amazing. It would also mean Rice isn't a single point of failure. At the moment, a lot of the OOP stuff relies on him.

@jackbar_ed James Morgan Yep - also more recently TOT/UTD (A). We essentially gave up possession in both games. Not by design, but because our left hand side completely broke down. I can understand why they're looking at a LCB/LB.

@jackbar_ed Clapton_Eri If our choice of midfielders was ode, Havertz, Rice, Guimares, Onana and another more attacking 8 we could put together so many interesting combos

@jackbar_ed James Morgan Yep - I think there's a concern on how we would cope OOP/physically without Rice, but I guess you can mitigate that by playing 4 CBs.

James Morgan @jackbar_ed Yeah, and it's that metronome we need. It's a technical and mental profile, ie whatever the game state, they're happy to handle the ball. There's been certain games we've ceded possession and it tends to happen when J20/Z35 aren't on the pitch.

@jackbar_ed My main worry from this year has been their exhaustion at the back end, so bringing in experience and quality and legs in those two above is so smart

@jackbar_ed James Morgan There’s never been so many gimmes in the PL, bit annoying that our record against the good teams was impeccable and the games against the bottom 15 let us down.

@jackbar_ed Yep, can't be having another sheff utd, offered absolutely nothing. Ipswich probably go down but at least they'll be fun
