The so called ‘scrutiny’ powers of the Windsor Framework has fallen at the very first hurdle.

The falsehoods of the Donaldson Deal become ever more obvious.

It's one thing to say the Windsor Framework can't last and another to make that so. The UK & EU arrived at an international agreement. It's already been renegotiated to the satisfaction of both. A future UK Govt can't magic away these obligations with 'new domestic legislation'.

At Sammy Wilson's first meeting of the EU scrutiny committee, he raised his concerns about the Government’s failure to inform the Windsor Framework Committee of new EU regulations

He's pleased the committee is taking the issue seriously and is pursuing it with the Cabinet Office
