🌍 Anitaaaa Bingo Brewster official 🥕🇬🇧 🇪🇺 🇺🇦#Vets4EU Sky News EU’s share of global trade is 31% (17% between members and 14% with RoW)
CPTPP, being just a trade deal, only covers trade between its members which is only 2%–3% of global trade (and UK joining doesn’t change that).

Thanks Minister 西村やすとし NISHIMURA Yasutoshi for all of Japan’s hard work, and congratulations on shepherding in the UKs accession to the CPTPP.

John Kneeland Ian Whitehead Dan Salt USMCA isn't a market, it's an FTA, like CPTPP.
And all the percentages you quoted look more like shares of global PPP which are meaningless from a trade perspective.

Another surfboard that didn’t go to the EU. Took advantage of the CPTPP agreement and sent the board over to Australia. Postage = 130GBP - over half the price of the board. Before Brexit the postage to Germany was 20GBP. Can you see the problem here? #BetterBeforeBrexit

David C Bannerman Would I be right that in a democracy you can change your mind based on evidence? Or simply just change your mind? The EU is the richest single market in the world, CPTPP is worth just 0.08% of GDP, so you’re kidding right? Finally, for your geographically challenged followers.

Derrick Berthelsen 'Soar' doing a lot of heavy lifting in that headline, I've read the rest so you don't have to Derrick, by 2031 we might see just over 188 tons of new Lamb sales, for context the UK exports about 75,000 tonnes a year currently...
CPTPP accounts for 0.76% of that...
