First it was a Chelley fan, then it was an Olandria fan, now it’s an Iris fan…. Whole time we all seen ts in real time.. it was #YALL.

🧚🏾‍♂️ Maya A lot of fandoms are very hate fueled against olandria/huda HOWEVER olandria confonted huda directly about the racism multiple times. It's not hard to address your crazy fans unless you agree with what they're saying

🧚🏾‍♂️ WE JUST ARRIVED The fans were not. You pointed to a few isolated incidences. I said they should be condemned. They are not the dominant narrative about Huda; in fact, many people defend Huda on the basis of her ethnicity rather than on her actions. I’m at my limit for this convo though ✌🏽

🧚🏾‍♂️ WE JUST ARRIVED I’m not. I’m came on this post about Amaya. Amaya is my fave and we are not talking about her at all. In that lies my point. We don’t need to play oppression olympics to defend our faves. We should engage with their actions. Huda receives critique largely for her actions

🧚🏾‍♂️ WE JUST ARRIVED We’re not arguing about if Huda gets hate. We’re debating if the basis of that is her actions or her ethnicity. My argument is that the *majority* is based on her actions. It’s not equivalent just because a genocide is happening, and using said genocide in that way is kind gross

🧚🏾‍♂️ WE JUST ARRIVED You shared a few isolated incidents of Anti-Palestinian rhetoric. That should be condemned. It’s dishonest to state it as a dominant narrative around Huda though. Pulling in Clarke/Adrienna further demonstrated that your grasping for excuses for Huda, not resolution around racism

🧚🏾‍♂️ WE JUST ARRIVED I’m not diminishing. The fans are all of what you’ve stated and more. Trying to justify the hate Chelley and Olandria have gotten by deflecting to the hate your fave has received undermines your point, and presents equivalencies where there aren’t. You are the toxic fan too

What Is It, The Braids?! (@agisacutie) 's Twitter Profile Photo

🧚🏾‍♂️ WE JUST ARRIVED Those posts are abhorrent and should be condemned. They’re still not equivalent to the vitriol & anti-Blackness that Chelley/Olandria have faced from the fans AND popular media. Every celebrity holds some accountability for their fans, and Huda continues to fall short here

What Is It, The Braids?! (@agisacutie) 's Twitter Profile Photo

WE JUST ARRIVED 🧚🏾‍♂️ Yeah, remove me from the y’all, cause I’m not co-signing that comment. Huda is not the victim here, and the lion’s share of critiques she’s received have been for her actions, not her ethnicity. People have even tried to deflect accountability from her because of her ethnicity

🧚🏾‍♂️ elham Pls girl i was there in real time and it was NOT iris fan, the account switch to iris after the whole debacle just to spread fake rumors.

🧚🏾‍♂️ Maya Huda had one of the biggest followings & has a community known for being one of the frontrunners of the hate and racism........ If that was the reputation I was developing it would have been shut down QUICKLY
