Resilience is about recharging, not grinding through challenges. If you really want to build resilience, you can start by strategically stopping. getpocket.com/explore/item/r…

Don’t bet on the person who shows occasional flashes of greatness. Bet on the person who delivers day after day. It’s better to be consistently good than intermittently excellent. Results and relationships depend on reliability. #SundayMotivation

Great to have SA Hockey Men take time after the match for a photo with the HoerskoolWaterkloof Gr9 hockey class. Not only that, they gave each player a thanks and a high five too. Well done gentlemen., 👏

Is coaching from the sideline the ideal time and place to be coaching? Games provide an ideal environment for players to implement learnt skills. learntowin.com.au/what-to-say-wh…

Agility is about rapid acceleration + deceleration. Which means, it's about force production. Almost ALWAYS applied unilaterally. Speed ladders/footwork drills are fine to warm up and practice applying force, but they're terrible at building it. That's done in the weight room.

A GOOD strength coach is the keeper of culture..... A standard bearer. When coaches and strength coaches are truly connected a strong culture can be built .

Coaches, how can we plan when the future is so uncertain? Prioritize building blocks over game skills (e.g., competitiveness, team building, game knowledge), plan in small chunks, and maintain a flexible focus that keeps you grounded but is adaptable. #coaching #PLANNING

Coaches read this tweet👇🏽 Immediate feedback is often not the issue but clear and concrete feedback that leads to change/action/progress.

Yo, young strength coaches listen up...I've spent plenty of cash and time in S and C books, programs, certs, you name it. But the best thing that happened to my coaching and my career was my wife. Choose your significant other wisely, you can empower one another if it's right.

Roughly ⅔ of today’s students will end up doing work that hasn’t been invented yet. *what* we teach kids is less important than *how* they learn to teach themselves.
