My wife just took Pulga in the car to get a raincoat, and told me she shook like a leaf the whole time until she saw she was back at our house, at which point she lost her mind with excitement. My heart is breaking, you are safe with us forever girl. 😭

Walking Minnie and Pulga and another guy walking two dogs came along and said “how are you?” I said “good, how are you?” to be polite, only to realize he was talking to the dogs and did not care about me. Same guy, same.

I don’t know what’s worse, the comments any time there is an NHL pride event, or the comments for posts about the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. If anyone who is following me has a problem with either of those things please do me a solid and unfollow me immediately.

My work from home support crew is utterly useless but very cute.

Yesterday I inadvertently coined a new phrase for where I’m at with the ever exploding cost of everything: financial apathy. Whereas previously I would have been outraged now I’m just kind of like “$15 for something that cost $5 a few years ago? Sure, here you go.”

Our dog walker’s husband told her that Minnie looks like a fruit bat, and now we can’t unsee it. 😂 P.S. We don’t have a dog walker because we are rich, we have one because my wife and I both work full time so we don’t all starve to death.

Chytil’s first goal was inarguably pretty lucky (or unlucky, huzzah perspective), but that was nonetheless a hell of an opening game from him. If he can stay healthy and keep playing that way it will be absolutely massive for the Canucks this season.

I forgot how quickly things get extremely negative on Canucks twitter when things don’t go well. Last night was not a good showing at all for damned near everyone but Demko, but let’s not forget we are but two games in with a new coach. The sky is not yet falling people.
