In my remarks, I enjoined our people to imbibe the “never say die” spirit of Rangers and embrace values such as hard work and determination which Rangers is known for and which resonates deeply with our journey as Igbo people.

Toscana … one of the world’s finest (for me oh) 🔥Nothing beats traditional - modern fusion in entertainment. Similar vibes In my travels past- Adom Club, High Level, Makurdi early 90s, whenever I had cases there. Tuareg band at Abedi St, Kano +Shack Lerry’s gigs at Isale-Eko 🫶🏿

Rest in peace Roy Ayers. So privileged to have watched him live Also blessed to have met him in 2004 (rephrase: I ‘by-forced’ an intro). He toured Nigeria with Fela and recorded - interestingly/ on Haruna Ishola’s Phonodisk. All three men are now reunited in the otherworld.

Teni Aofiyebi (nee Gbogboade) - talented actress, imperious carriage, crisp diction. One of the star actresses of the 70s. Her wedding day in 1977. Funlola’s aunt btw but a star in her own right back in the day.

It was a pleasure and a masterclass hosting the conversation between Nze Nze Ed Emeka Keazor, DG Obi Asika and DG Evelyn Odigboh at the PIQL launch about the need for preservation of archives, who decides what to archive and what should the archives be used for.
