Marking a new chapter at #SDState, the first-ever Jackrabbit graduates of the elementary education program are prepared to shape the next generation - one classroom at a time. Meet a few members of the inaugural cohort and learn what inspired their calling to teach. ⤵️

Erin Peterson was a natural-born scientist with a love for the outdoors, which led her to #SDState and a career in wildlife and fisheries sciences. After Erin's passing, her family created a research award to support students who share her passion for exploration. Read more ⤵️
