Last Friday masters student Brandon Clark rang the NRM good news bell after successfully defending his thesis! He is now officially a master in Biological Sciences with a specialization in NRM. Brandon has been advised by Dr. Lora Perkins. Congratulations Brandon!!🎉🌱

Last week many NRM students and faculty members attended the annual AFS Dakota Chapter meeting in Bismarck, North Dakota. This meeting was an excellent opportunity to hear from and talk to professionals in the fisheries field. 🎉🐟

Happy World Water Day!! What better way to celebrate than with a new SDSU Extension video series called The Northern Plains Water Voice. The first video is expected in early April. The series will focus on water resource issues in the region.

Last week, Mr. Walter Wafula successfully completed his comprehensive written and oral exams in NRM on Wednesday. Walter is studying the impacts of precision grazing on rangeland plant and soil carbon to determine whether these technologies can enhance carbon storage in soils.
