Francona's culture-building and Antonetti's organizational touch are why the squad will hit 100 wins with a 34-20 finish, IMO.

#InTheAir The seventh game of a World Series was Herb Score's last call for Cleveland. Wish Jim Donovan had had something like that ... more than an occasional "run William run." But Jim is at peace with his work, I hope.

Cavs 50-10. An .833 winning percentage. When I was in school 83% was a B-minus. But I think we’ll cut the boys some slack on this one.

Happened to be at Kent State-at-Pitt football game. During a break, scoreboard showed clips of ex-Pitt guys playing NFL games. Cheers. Got to Kenny Pickett. Boos. Who knew KP was headed for duty in CLE?

#InTheYear2000 We often debate “good owners” at my house. Part of the equation: Winning seasons this century. Scoreboard: Cavs 14, Indians/Guardians 14, Browns 4.

#StadiumDraftEtc One thing that is so exhausting is that for years the Browns felt like “Modell’s team.” And now these years of feeling like “Haslam’s team.” For all their faults, the Lerners had more “it’s your team” in them.

P.A. guy at Akron Rubber Ducks game announced Browns' pick. Crowd booed. P.A. guy quick on his feet: "Don't shoot the messenger."

Bowling Green's HC got Harold Fannin to stay by promising him his 2024 would either get him a million at Ohio State or Michigan in 2025, or a nice spot in the draft. VERY nice pick by the Browns.

It has been eight years since Joe Thomas' last season. Different positions, but ... it strikes me as interesting that Pittsburgh's new quarterback is a year and two days older than No. 73.
