2025, The Village of Tontogany celebrates its sesquicentennial anniversary. That’s 150 years. Today we kicked off by honoring a resident turning 100 years old on January 6th. It was my honor to be with Ms. Thelma and present to her a Proclamation. Happy Birthday Thelma.

Congratulations to the NBC CHAMPION OTSEGO KNIGHTS. Genoa put up a great fight but we were able to hang on for the overtime win.

As part of Tontogany’s 150th celebration, we hosted a Murder Mystery based on Wood County’s oldest unsolved murder of Togany resident Olive Peaney. The support from the community was AMAZING. 150 years and we are not done just yet.

Please be advised there is a water line break on Main Street between the RR Tracks and Tontogany Rd. A crew has arrived to work on it. Please use an alternated route.

Sometimes it is difficult to take time for yourself. However, I did that with my family this past week in Colorado. It was great to hear our boys marvel at the majestic beauty of the Rocky Mountains.

Sad day today. I am proud to tell people I am a Mohr. My Mom was a Mohr and this has been a very proud part of our family history. From early 1900’s to mid 1990’s.
