All kids might not care what you teach them, but most will care how you treat them. Stay in it for the long game and don't write them off. #teachergoals #edchat

So pleased! In-lesson feedback has much more power and impact than anything post lesson - hope that message is coming across loud and clear! We are finding many ways of maximising in-the-moment feedback.

You often don't know what baggage a child walks into school with. What happened that morning that either lifted them up or crushed them to the ground. Keep this in mind when you first see them each day. #TeachBetter #KidsDeserveIt #BeTheOne

When we read to our children, they are doing more work than meets the eye. "It's that muscle they're developing bringing the images to life in their minds." owl.li/knQB30nIx7s #edchat #parenting #reading #earlyed #elemchat

Great teachers understand small gains should be celebrated and model that it’s okay to make mistakes. #lcsdprolearning

Adults aren’t the only ones who get “hangry.” Or “tangry.” Let’s be sure to build a nest - a #TraumaInvested setting - for each and every one of our precious students (and colleagues).

Spent an amazing afternoon visiting Miss Dopko’s Literacy Cafe. The menu offered hot chocolate and a range of narratives created by students. The pupils did a great job reading their work, discussing progress as well as celebrating their success. Thank you!

Thanks @40Lenora and students for a fantastic art walk, demonstrating students’ grasp of cross curricular targets. Lots of fun, learning and a terrific link to our Wonderfully Made theme!
