The NWS has issued an overnight Frost Advisory for Garrett County, as the thermometer looks to drop into the mid-30s. Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation, which may be killed if left uncovered.@ScottSumnerWx

The remainder of the holiday weekend is dry, which is good news for those who want to barbeque outside on Memorial Day. Wet weather arrives on Tuesday and sticks around until sunrise on Thursday, with a dry Friday.@ScottSumnerWx

Here's a look a Sunday high temps for D.C., Wincester, Virginia and Frederick, Maryland along with the hour by hour wind speeds. Another dry day is expected for most on Sunday.@ScottSumnerWx

It will be a fairly active week with showers in the DMV after Memorial Day. Have the umbrella or rain jacket ready. It will also be cooler than normal through Wednesday before the thermometer moves upward and closer to where the temps should be for late May.@ScottSumnerWx

D.C. reached 72 degrees today, and similar temperatures will be seen on Memorial Day. It has been dry today, but a storm system moving through North Carolina could bring a few passing showers overnight south of the district.@ScottSumnerWx
