Act-2025-427 has been enacted which changes appellate practice re: expungements. Effective Oct. 1, the proper avenue to challenge a ruling on an expungement petition will be to file a notice of appeal instead of a petition for a writ of certiorari. arc-sos.state.al.us/ucp/L1836429.A…
