We must be clear what this is. It's backsliding from a commitment made last year to deliver a Scottish bill based on the recommendions of the Scottish expert advisory group - made last year. That commitment was to deliver that bill, not pass off responsibility to Westminster.

Earlier this year Scottish Greens published important legislation to introduce a national system of rent controls. With the cost of rent skyrocketing in recent years, this legislation must move forward. The SNP must not cave to the vested interests of the landlord lobby.
