Great to have completed the 2km Cooly Classic Ocean Swim this morning. Postponed by a month due to rough conditions, there was still a big sweep entering the water at Snapper Rocks and a big drag out over the last 150m exiting at Kirra Beach. The last big swim before winter!

Bitter winter day on the Sunny Coast for the Solstice Swim at Alex Headland 😂 - breathtaking blue skies, 26c max air temp, 21c in the water. This is winter in Qld! It’s not just the State of Origin where we are the winners!

Sunshine Coast Solstice Swim done - my final competition swim before heading overseas in five weeks to attempt to swim from Alcatraz Island to the mainland across San Francisco Bay. Today the water temp was 21c - in the Bay it will 13c 🥶- definitely time to get a wet suit!
