An NWS Storm Assessment Team has determined the damage from northern Le Sueur County through Scott County was caused by downbusrt winds. No evidence of tornadic damage was found.

UPDATE Daniel Joseph Bade was found deceased in Bloomington, MN this evening. At this time authorities do not suspect his death to be suspicious. We send our sincere condolences to Daniel's family & friends during this difficult time.

UPDATE: Northbound Highway 169 is closed between County Highway 83 and County Highway 21. Please use an alternative route.

Storms should reach Scott County in about an hour. Strong, damaging winds are the main threat with this storm.

An overnight crash damaged power poles on county road 42 in Savage. Minnesota Valley Electric crews have restored most of the impacted areas.  The westbound lanes of county road 42 are expected to be closed between Dakota (County road 27) & Quebec all day as repairs take place.

County Road 42 is now open in both directions.
