I really enjoyed the first session of LeadershipSC. Last week, the class heard presentations on SC history, important issues facing our state, and local government. I am extremely grateful for this opportunity, and I look forward to getting to know the members of the class of 2025.

Our crews Blue Ridge Electric Cooperative ⚡️ continue to work late into the night to restore power to our members. Please continue to be patient and thank a lineman! They are away from their families, working tirelessly so that we can have power. Great progress today!

BSW Arena continues to be an outstanding community partner. Arena staff and volunteers are making 2500 lunches per day to support United Way of Greenville County. The South Carolina Department of Public Health is using the arena as a medical needs shelter for 100 patients and their caregivers. (7/7)

The Governor directs that the flags atop the State Capitol, state buildings and buildings of the political subdivisions be flown at half-staff tomorrow in memory of the innocent South Carolinians who lost their lives as a result of Hurricane Helene.
