Sixteen Year 10 pupils had a great day yesterday at the Salters Festival of Chemistry Salters' Institute. The pupils completed a experiment in the Swansea University labs to produce Aspirin and attended lectures on careers in Chemistry. Olchfa School #outreach #wideningparticipation

Year 12 and 13 have been involved with fieldwork recently. Year 13 carried out random sampling and Year 12 were looking at systematic sampling techniques. Both sets of students were able to collect a huge amount of data that has enabled them to draw conclusions. Olchfa School
