These arrived this week. 2 and 3 came with an extra slipcover. Not sure if I should go with the original artwork or the newly commissioned artwork. Thoughts?

Managed to squeeze in a movie this weekend. Bloody Muscle Bodybuilder in Hell aka The Japanese Evil Dead. In one of the special features, the writer / director talks about being influenced by the Evil Dead trilogy. I really enjoyed this one.

It's been a long day. Ready for some sleep.

Two more for the collection. Electric Dragon 80000V (2001) and Hell of the Living Dead (1980)

Movie time. Just finished watching Dark Places (1973) staring Christopher Lee, Joan Collins, Herbert Lom, Jean Marsh and Robert Hardy. I have to say I really enjoyed this one.

Latest edition to the collection. 1980s City of the Living Dead, also known as The Gates of Hell. This is the Cauldron Films 3 disc release. 4K UHD, blu-ray, and a special features blu-ray in this awesome slipcase.

I've watched Dolls, The Dungeonmaster and Cellar Dweller. The restoration on these are amazing. If you like the old Empire or Full Moon movies, you need to get this set. Highly recommend it. I forgot how much I liked Dolls.

Watching Swamp Thing on 4K. This is the first release in their 4K LaserVision Collection. The restoration is pretty good. There are a few scenes that didn't turn out well, but I'm sure it's due to the source material.

Anyone up for a Bruce Lee marathon? This ten disc 4k set is loaded with extra features, a hardcover book, art cards and more.

Tonight's movie Paul Leni's The Cat and the Canary (1927). This is the new Eureka release with a new 4k scan. The picture quality is amazing, especially for a 1927 film.

The latest movie for the collection. Mausoleum (1983). This is a new release from Treasured Films. It's a 4K scan and restoration from the original 35mm original camera negative. It comes in a thick hard case with a really nice book and double sided art cards.

Lucio Fulci's The Beyond (1981). This is the new 4K restoration from Grindhouse. There are a few times the sound coming from the back speakers caused the cats to jump. This set is loaded with special features and several easter eggs.

Presence (2024). Dir: Steven Soderbergh. Lucy Liu, Chris Sullivan. I really enjoyed this one. Not your typical haunted house movie.
