Have to say, I agree with 95% of the stuff CapX put out…

But this makes no sense. Arguing that selective schools on the basis of religion adds diversity is logically flawed

So good to see McLaren back on the top of the podium! It’s been way too long…

And another 🇬🇧 F1 champion - great drive from Lando Norris too

What the Tories have done on immigration is absolutely unforgivable. They could have overseen smart migration instead of mass migration. Instead they've torn apart the social fabric in a bid to provide big biz with cheap labour and to win approval from a Woke left that hates them

Common sense prevails

But we cant just ignore the question of WHY they allowed this nonsense in the first place. Where is the accountability?

One of the challenges when a policy is not evidenced-based (like mammography, which does not generate net benefit) is that decisions like when to start using it are entirely arbitrary

The schadenfreude watching the implode after over a decade of mismanaging every aspect of Scottish life on the mistaken fantasy of independence, together with their absurd, Orwellian identity politics (exacerbated by the even stupider Greens), is making my Monday morning 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Falls in the category of “boring” - but likely has much more impact on global health than gene editing, cell therapies and ever will…

Remembering the first release of my number one favorite album from FORTY YEARS ago makes me feel properly old…

The axiomatic error undermining much of Western Civilization is “weak makes right”.

If someone accepts, explicitly or implicitly, that the oppressed are always the good guys, then the natural conclusion is that the strong are the bad guys.

Cars have changed but Stamford has not!

Having grown up there, it looked exactly like this (but with Ford Capris!) in the 1970s - and it is just as beautiful today

A national treasure

If I were an opposition politician in the Scottish assembly, Id back Useless Yousaf in the No Confidence vote…

Keep in power until an election can wipe him and his hopeless SNP cronies out of existence

Since he is so bad, a replacement could only be better

Spent a whole career marvelling at the US innovation ecosystem, and wishing we could be half as good here in the UK - so its genuinely painful watching the cavalier attacks coming from the current administration

Attacking non-competes; taxing unrealised gains...

Nuts

Multiple Pharma materially shrinking their pipelines ( $RHHBY $SANY $BMS most recently)

Killing stuff that won’t work is good for returns, but unless PTS rises smaller pipelines won’t plug future LOEs

More acquisitions coming therefore?
