For all the talk of U.S. leadership in space, the GOP's budget contains staggering NASA cuts including a $1 billion cut to the Earth Science Division which helps predict natural disasters. These cuts endanger states like NC & hamper NASA's ability to inspire the next generation.

I spoke on the House Floor about Trump’s cuts to the U.S. National Science Foundation, NIH, and more—including $20 million in cancelled NSF research grants for NC.
