Such a privilege to have a week of inspiring conversations with Nivedita Menon, one of India’s leading feminist political thinkers (Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) School of International Studies), as part of the The Societies & Cultures Institute (SCI) Visiting Professor programme!

This was followed by Prof Menon's first keynote at Streatham (Faculty of Humanities, Arts & Social Sciences) on 'Secularism as Misdirection: Critical Thought from the Global South' which shaped important conversations about secularism, caste, capitalism, and patriarchy.

Sharing highlights from Prof Nivedita Menon’s visit to University of Exeter -an inspiring week of discussions on secularism, gender, and critical thought from South Asia & the Global South.
