Nebraska legislature passed a bill to fund students instead of systems. The bill needed a 33-vote supermajority to avoid a filibuster. The vote was 33 to 14. One Democrat voted for it. It now goes to Gov. Jim Pillen's desk. He supports school choice. This is the way.

We live in a civilization, people. Our system of representational government works just fine. The reps listened to their constituents and passed a school choice bill. It's a win-win. More kids get more options, and taxpayers will pay less.
