Nebraska legislature passed a bill to fund students instead of systems. The bill needed a 33-vote supermajority to avoid a filibuster. The vote was 33 to 14. One Democrat voted for it. It now goes to Gov. Jim Pillen's desk. He supports school choice. This is the way.

@thewopr Corey A. DeAngelis, school choice evangelist NEGOP Jim Pillen Governor Jim Pillen Here is the gap in thought. You want to save my community... I want to empower them. I will try everything and in time we will see what works. Let's empower parents and families...and if it does not work, let us reject it. But if it saves or helps kids, let's promote it. Fair?

Look at these people demanding your money. “What do we want? PUBLIC DOLLARS!” They’re not marching for better education for children. They’re marching for their pocketbooks. Sickening.

We live in a civilization, people. Our system of representational government works just fine. The reps listened to their constituents and passed a school choice bill. It's a win-win. More kids get more options, and taxpayers will pay less.

Thank you Senator Wayne for speaking truth to the #NSEA: “With all due respect, it’s not about you it’s about the students”

Stop lying, this isn’t what LB1402 is for. Why does the #NSEA teachers union always assume that parents living in poverty would be so completely inept that given a choice they would choose to send their children to sub-prime schools?
