Very happy to have contributed to your work Joohan Nam and Choe Group ! It is always fun to squeeze some crystals at the synchrotron! Check out the preprint on the kirigami tesselation under pressure in a very peculiar type of ZIF in ChemRxiv : go.shr.lc/3Wx1UMt

Wen-Long Xue's exciting work on deriving highly porous glasses from ZIF-8, including a wealth of experimental data, triangular phase diagrams, and MAS NMR spectra by our friends from the Linser group, is finally published in Nature Communications. Dive in here: doi.org/10.1038/s41467…

For all those who love reading Angewandte Chemie papers in german - the translated version of the study by Ankita De is now online! With help from Samirjalayer, Dr. Sattwick Haldar and colleagues from CRC 1415! Many thanks to Fanny, who did the actual translation! onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/an…

Now on ChemRxiv - Dorothea Golze and her team developed improved Ab Initio Molecular Dynamics to compute vibrational spectra of Layered 2D COFs - Karen and me went to the lab to verify them! Collaboration within CRC 1415! Theoretical Chemistry at TU Dresden Thomas Heine go.shr.lc/4dsmlzq

The #CRC1415 is welcoming Prof. Dr. Josef Breu, Universität Bayreuth! The consortium was listing to his inspiring talk "From Layered Compounds via Liquid Crystals to Functional Materials".

Now JCIM & JCTC Journals - Dorothea Golze and team Theoretical Chemistry at TU Dresden developed ab initio molecular dynamics methods to compute IR and Raman spectra of #COFs (incl solvent impurities), highlighting the interplay of theory and experimentalists in CRC 1415! I think we need a discussion about cause and effect J. Am. Chem. Soc. ! The pendant groups are not controlling the different dimensionalities in the materials, but the reaction conditions. The 2,5-Dimethoxybenzene + Pyrenetetraaniline 2D Square Grid COF has been reported several times!

Team-effort lead by @MukherjeeChem now in Advanced Portfolio News - using MOF/Polymer hybrids to adsorb a range of PFAS from water! Congrats and I am glad I could contribute! FischerGroup onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/ad…

Take a look at this new preprint from Alexander Knebel now online ChemRxiv! A nominally nonporous MOF MIL-116(Ga) was used to separate Helium from natural gas, a critical task to ensure Helium availability! Glad Karen and me could contribute! chemrxiv.org/engage/chemrxi…

Take a look at Albrecht Waentig work in Chemical Science. A series of electron deficient vinylene-linked COFs was prepared and used to host sulfur in cathodes for LiS 🔋 Financed by CRC 1415 and lead by StefanKaskel, Xinliang Feng and Mingchao Wang! Dr. Sattwick Haldar pubs.rsc.org/en/content/art…

Congratulations to Ayisha Komal from the team of Alexander Knebel On her paper out in Advanced Portfolio News! Nominally "non-porous" MIL-116(Ga) can be used for Helium Upgrading! Glad we could help! TU Dresden advanced.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/ad…
