In some US states, teens can access mental health care even w/o parent support (good!) In the same states, many IRBs ban teens from taking part in research on MH care w/o parent consent So we can offer care to (some) teens who lack parent support—but we can't test if it works.

The 🐈 is out of the bag. The EMBARK lab is moving to the Dept of Psychology at University of Texas at Austin in fall 2025! I’ll be reviewing clinical psychology PhD applicants - looking for folks interested in eating disorder methodology and risk with strong quantitative skills
