Today, Special Olympics MO awarded WPD the "Outstanding Agency of the Year" award. Chief wanted to thank all residents and supporters that came to our fundraiser events. We accepted the award, but our community and the athletes are the real winners. Thanks again for all the support!

The Mayor has declared a Snow Emergency in accordance with Municipal Code 395.020. This Emergency is in effect from 1 p.m. today, Dec. 15, until Tuesday, Dec. 17 at 1 p.m. During this time, it is unlawful for vehicles to park on a City road. More at wentzvillemo.org.

Big thanks to Lowe’s in Wentzville for inviting us to the First Responder Lunch. We really appreciate it and the food was delicious. Thanks to all the employees that made the potluck style lunch possible. A special shout out to “Jim” in Lawn and Garden those ribs were amazing.

Congratulations Officer Hunt and Officer Wightman for receiving the lifesaving award today. They performed lifesaving measures on a male that collapsed and was unconscious. Due to their swift action that man is still alive with his family today. Congratulations!
