Today, Special Olympics MO awarded WPD the "Outstanding Agency of the Year" award. Chief wanted to thank all residents and supporters that came to our fundraiser events. We accepted the award, but our community and the athletes are the real winners. Thanks again for all the support!

Congratulations Officer Hunt and Officer Wightman for receiving the lifesaving award today. They performed lifesaving measures on a male that collapsed and was unconscious. Due to their swift action that man is still alive with his family today. Congratulations!

Several officers were out today delivering some holiday cheer. The WPD Blue Line Family adopted families, over 80 students at Heritage Elementary and Twin Oaks at Stone Ridge Senior Living. We would like to thank all of you that donated to and supported the WPD Blue Line Family
