We just learned of the passing of Dr. David Tonkyn who served on the faculty Biological Sciences for many years. Dave had a positive impact on so many! He will be missed but his scientific legacy will carry on.

Just got off a call with a colleague S.C. Dept. of Natural Resources. She mentioned digging into theses from our lab from several years ago to pull out details on nesting from a few different species. A great reminder of the enduring value of the work our students do and how it supports our partners.

What is it with reviewer 2? Do they have an inferiority complex b/c they were not Reviewer 1? Did they miss the class in Reviewer school on how to provide a good review while still being polite? Seems like someone needs to do a podcast about this.
